Virtual assistants for real estate media companies

The work behind the work.

Basepoint places a trained assistant inside your media company. Your assistant handles communication with your editors, checks every order before it goes out, and keeps your name in front of the agents you want to shoot for. You shoot and approve.

What an assistant takes off your plate.

Each assistant works inside your tools, on your delivery standard, during your hours, and keeps everything around the edit moving.

QC & delivery

Mon to Fri or Mon to Sat

Your assistant handles communication with your editors, checks all media against your standards, makes the small fixes, and delivers the finished order to the agent. Nothing goes out unchecked.

Includes

  • Editor management
  • Quality control
  • Pin drops, lot lines, road names
  • Media delivery
  • Completion emails
  • CRM upkeep

Agents tend to book photographers they already know. Your assistant spends time every weekday liking, commenting, and replying on posts and stories from the agents and brokerages you want to work with, so they know your name before you ask for the shoot.

Includes

  • Finding target agents
  • Likes and comments on posts
  • Story replies
  • Hashtag and feed activity
  • Answering incoming messages
  • Tracking who's engaged

Content & SEO

IG · FB · LinkedIn · Web

Your assistant builds posts from your own shoots, writes your captions and newsletters, and keeps your website up to date. You won't have to explain what a twilight shoot is.

Includes

  • Posts, stories, carousels
  • Captions and newsletter copy
  • Website edits, on-page SEO

How it works Four steps

From a call to your first delivery.

  1. 01

    Call

We go through how your studio runs today: your booking platform, your editors, your delivery window, and the tasks that keep you at your desk after a shoot.

  2. 02

    Match

We pair you with an assistant who is trained on the services you choose and already knows real estate media work.

  3. 03

    First week

Your assistant learns your tools and your standards, and works alongside you until your process is written down and repeatable.

  4. 04

    Alignment calls

A manager oversees your assistant daily. Once a month, we join you on a call to ensure we are consistently meeting your expectations.

Compare Hire, freelance, or Basepoint

Against the two things you've probably tried.

In-house hire Freelance VA Basepoint
Time to useful Weeks to hire, then months to train Fast to start, slow to trust Usually working on their own within two weeks
Industry knowledge You teach it from zero General VA skills, no real estate context Trained on real estate media before day one
Working hours Yours Whenever they're available Always overlaps US business hours
Who checks the work You, until they're up to speed You, every time Your assistant runs QC, and we review their work regularly
If they leave You start hiring again You start over, often mid-project A replacement can start the same day
About Since 2023

Built inside a real estate media company.

Basepoint started as one media company's back office. Anthony was growing a real estate media business while working a full-time job, and there was no time left to reach out to agents.

In October 2021, Anthony hired Muhammad as a virtual assistant and trained him on outreach. Four months later, in February 2022, Anthony left the full-time job to run the media company. Muhammad took on QC and delivery next, and handled both as the company grew into a team.

We kept seeing other media companies stuck where we'd been, so in 2023 we started Basepoint to give them what worked for us: a trained assistant who understands the back end of a real estate media business.

FAQ

Questions studios ask on the first call.

Does the assistant edit photos or video?

No. Your assistant manages your editors, checks what comes back, adds the finishing touches like pin drops, lot lines, road names, and callouts, then delivers the order.

Is audience engagement the same as running ads or cold outreach?

No. It's regular activity from your own accounts: liking, commenting, and replying on posts from the agents you want to work with. When it's time for them to book a photographer, they already recognize your name.

Which platforms do you cover?

Audience engagement covers Facebook and Instagram. Content covers Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, plus your website. Google Business Profile management is available as an add-on.

Can I start with one service?

Yes. Start with whichever job costs you the most time and add others when you're ready.

What days does the assistant work?

Monday to Friday or Monday to Saturday, depending on the service. We'll match it to your shoot schedule on the call.

Need help with something not listed?

Ask on the call. Tell us what's taking up your time and we'll tell you honestly whether we can help.

How does pricing work?

It depends on which services you need and how many hours they take. We'll walk you through it on the call once we know what your week looks like.
